Luma Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Maths and English Learning Support Worker for March to assist learners with maths, English and Functional Skills. The role is part-time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, at an education hub in March, Cambridgeshire, with travel to outreach sessions.

You'll keep notes on progress and share them with staff; experience supporting young people in schools or tutoring is valued; a driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people, e.g. in a school, as a tutor or in youth work.
• Maths and English to GCSE level.
• Driving licence and access to a car.
• Patient, kind and well organised.

Responsibilities

• Help learners improve their maths and English.
• Support learners working towards Functional Skills qualifications.
• Work one-to-one and with small groups.
• Attend outreach sessions with learners in the area.
• Keep notes on progress and share them with staff.
