Job summary

Zurich is seeking a Solution Architect to shape the end-to-end design across Guidewire Centers (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Jutro Digital Platform) and Zurich Solutions in our ICT Transformation group in Switzerland.

You will ensure architectural consistency, drive technical decisions in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Security and delivery teams, and translate business requirements into robust architectures that align with ASD42 standards.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect in an agile insurance environment.
• Proven, hands-on experience with Guidewire systems (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Jutro Digital Platform, Integration Gateway) and their integration into complex IT architectures.
• Solid expertise in integration architectures, API design, cloud technologies (Azure and/or AWS) and common architecture frameworks (arc42/ASD42, TOGAF).
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a structured, decisive way of working and the ability to communicate technical topics to different audiences.
• Very good command of English and/or German (C1/C2 level).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end solution design across all Guidewire Centers (Jutro Digital Platform, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) and adjacent Zurich Solutions
• Ensure architectural consistency and compliance with Zurich's architecture standards (e.g. ASD42) across the entire solution stack
• Evaluate solution alternatives and make well-founded technical decisions in close collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Security and delivery teams
• Translate complex business requirements into end-to-end solution designs and guide them from concept to successful implementation
• Act as the central point of contact for architectural topics, working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, development teams and external partners
