Job summary

Hirslanden Klinik Permanence in Bern is seeking a dedicated Positioning Nurse for a 100% permanent role. You will prepare operating tables and materials, assist with patient transfers, and coordinate patient positioning across theatres.

The position requires completing training as a Lagerungspfleger or willingness to undertake it, with German language proficiency and medical terminology knowledge. On-site work with weekends on-call is possible.

Qualifications

• Completed training as a Lagerungspfleger or willingness to undergo training.
• Ability to handle stress and work well in teams.
• Fluency in German and knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating tables and materials for procedures.
• Assist with patient transfer and positioning during surgeries.
• Coordinate patient positioning across multiple operating rooms.
• Admit and discharge patients; position patients per standards.
• Independently assist with induction of new staff and impart knowledge.
