Lonza Group is seeking a Data Engineer for the Process Analytics & Data Intelligence (PADI) team in Visp. You will design, build, and operate data infrastructure connecting process, execution, and development data into a trusted operational foundation used daily by MSAT, Process Development, and Operations.

This fully on-site role emphasizes real-time collaboration to manufacture medicines with the highest quality and safety standards, supporting analytics-ready datasets for decision making

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience building/operating production-grade data pipelines.
• Strong SQL expertise and data model design for high-volume workloads.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT development with integrated data sources.
• Practical knowledge of OT systems and industrial data platforms.
• Solid understanding of data quality, lineage, governance, and compliance (GxP).
• Experience with Azure data services and cloud-native architectures.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and operate automated data pipelines connecting process, execution, and instrument data.
• Replace manual data handling with governed, versioned data flows for operational use.
• Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring for data reliability at scale.
• Deliver analytics-ready datasets to downstream BI and analytics layers.
• Collaborate with MSAT, Process Development, Automation, QA, IT and global data teams to align data models and integration patterns.
• Continuously improve pipeline performance, robustness, and maintainability.
