The University of Basel invites applications for an Open-Rank Professorship in Information Systems to begin on February 1, 2028, or on date agreed. The appointee will conduct high-impact research, mentor early-career researchers, and teach across levels, potentially leading MSc programs.

Teaching may be in English. We welcome applicants in any IS area, including AI, data analytics, digital platforms, and information security management.

Qualifications

• Excellent quantitative empirical researcher with publications in leading outlets.
