Jobs for Humanity is seeking Online Data Analysts to remotely verify and validate geographic and business information for Swiss contexts. You will use online research and mapping tools to assess maps, addresses, and locations, while following project guidelines.

This independent contractor role offers fully remote work with flexible hours. Training materials are provided, and earnings are task-based, with an hourly equivalent around 21 EUR as a reference point.

Qualifications

• Professional fluency in English and German (native or near-native proficiency required)
• Have lived in Switzerland for the last 5 consecutive years
• In-depth regional, cultural, and geographic knowledge of Switzerland
• Willingness to work across a diverse set of Task Types (e.g. Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability tounderstand and apply project guidelines
• Willingness to participate regularly each week when work is available
• Stable internet connection and access to a personal computer

Responsibilities

• Verify and validate geographic and business information using mapping tools and references
• Review map, business, address, location data for accuracy
• Research information via online maps, search engines, directories, and sources
• Compare sources to select the most accurate result
• Assess German and English search results for accuracy
• Follow project guidelines when making decisions
• Work across Maps, Search/Relevance, Audio tasks, etc.
• Provide evaluations to improve digital products and AI systems

As an Online Data Analyst, you will use your knowledge of Switzerland, together with online research and project guidelines, to review and evaluate map, location, business, and search information. This is a remote, flexible independent contractor opportunity designed for people who can participate regularly each week when tasks are available.

A Day in the Life of an Online Data Analyst

In this role, you will verify, evaluate, and validate geographic and business information using advanced mapping tools and detailed reference materials.

You may work on a variety of tasks, including:

• Review and verify map, business, address, and location information
• Research information using online maps, search engines, directories, and reliable sources
• Compare information from different sources and determine which result is most accurate
• Evaluate German and English language search results and information
• Follow detailed project guidelines when making decisions
• Work across different task types such as Maps, Search/Relevance, Audio, etc.
• Provide accurate evaluations that help improve digital products and AI systems

Training materials, guidelines, and examples are provided.

Service Rates

This is a task-based opportunity rather than an hourly-paid position.

Each task has an assigned rate based on its estimated completion time. Based on current task rates and estimated completion times, earnings are approximately equivalent to:

21 EUR per hour This hourly equivalent is provided as an estimate only.

Actual earnings may vary depending on:

• The type of tasks completed
• The volume of available tasks
• The number of tasks you choose to complete
• Quality and productivity requirements
• Your individual pace of work
• Your level of regular participation

Independent Contractor Relationship

This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor basis.

Contributors have flexibility in deciding when they participate and how much available work they choose to complete, subject to project availability, qualification requirements, and project quality standards.

While there is no fixed work schedule, the project is intended for contributors who can participate regularly and consistently when tasks are available.
