• Develop and implement innovative breeding approaches across pre-breeding, genomics and phenotyping.
• Build expertise in disease-resistance and climate-resilience breeding for onions.
• Network with research and breeding partners, prepare project applications and manage funding.
• Publish results and disseminate to practitioners.
