Zusammenfassung

MDPI seeks a Product Owner to drive data-driven product experiences across our digital platforms. You will own the backlog, translate requirements into user stories, and lead sprint planning while partnering with stakeholders and the development team to deliver incremental value.

You will report on delivery metrics, maintain readiness for upcoming sprints, and ensure non-functional aspects like performance and privacy are addressed. English proficiency is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's is a plus.
• 2+ years in product ownership or related delivery roles.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with backlog management and sprint planning.
• Strong collaboration across business, engineering and other functions.
• Strong user story creation and value-based prioritization.
• Experience with product analytics, KPI tracking and data-informed decisions.
• Proficient with Jira and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient English communication (C1).
• PO certification and engagement in digital products is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Own the product backlog for the assigned area with value-based prioritization.
• Translate requirements into well-defined user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Guide sprint planning, reviews, and backlog refinement sessions.
• Collaborate with development to translate strategy into measurable increments.
• Serve as primary business liaison and voice of the customer when no PM is assigned.
• Track and report delivery metrics and run KPI reviews with stakeholders.
• Maintain a ready backlog for upcoming sprints and manage readiness risks.
• Ensure non-functional requirements like performance and privacy are covered.
• Communicate progress, blockers, dependencies, and risks transparently.
