ITech Consult AG is seeking an OMS Specialist to supervise the operation, support, and advancement of the Front Arena OMS in a hybrid Swiss setting. The role focuses on stable operations and ongoing automation of the trading application landscape.

You will perform 2nd-level support, incident analysis, and manage releases, while collaborating with IT and business stakeholders in a securities trading environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in application management, support, or engineering in banking/finance.
• Experience with OMS or trading applications is required.
• Practical knowledge of Front Arena / FIS is highly desirable.
• Experience operating, integrating, and evolving complex application landscapes.
• SQL knowledge; Java, Python, Bash or similar is advantageous.
• Understanding of securities trading, especially equity and fixed-income trading, is a plus.
• Analytical, structured, solution-oriented, and good communicator.

Project:

The OMS Specialist is responsible for the operation, support, and further development of the central Front Arena Order Management System (OMS) within securities trading. The platform processes exchange orders from various distribution channels and routes them to exchanges, trading platforms, and brokers.

The objective is to ensure stable operations and continuously optimize and automate the trading application landscape.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the stable operation and maintenance of the Front Arena OMS
• Provide 2nd-level support, incident analysis, and on-call support
• Implement and introduce changes, releases, and technical adaptations
• Automate packaging and deployment processes
• Analyze and resolve incidents and maintain technical documentation
• Support the integration and further development of applications and interfaces
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders, development teams, and business departments within the trading environment

Requirements

• Several years of experience in application management, application support, or engineering within the banking or financial sector
• Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) or trading applications
• Practical knowledge of Front Arena / FIS and relevant components is highly desirable
• Experience operating, integrating, and further developing complex application landscapes
• Knowledge of SQL and ideally Java, Python, Bash, or comparable technologies
• Understanding of securities trading, particularly Equity and Fixed-Income Trading, is an advantage
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate between business and IT
