ONWARD Medical in Lausanne, Switzerland seeks a Clinical Development Lead – Early Research to translate strategic indication priorities into a focused clinical evidence portfolio across IIS, EFS, and grant-funded studies, spanning ARC-EX, ARC-IM, and ARC-BCI.

You will collaborate across Marketing, R&D, Regulatory Affairs and Market Access to shape protocols, engage investigators and KOLs, and ensure data supports regulatory submissions and market access.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in neuroscience or related discipline.
• Experience in early-phase clinical research within medical devices (IIS/EFS).
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into a credible clinical evidence plan.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (EU MDR, GCP, ISO 14155, GDPR/nDSG).
• Strong cross-cultural collaboration and scientific communication.

Responsibilities

• Translate indication priorities into a coordinated clinical evidence plan for IIS, EFS, and grant-funded studies.
• Coordinate full lifecycle of studies from initial request to execution, data collection and reporting.
• Engage investigators and KOLs as scientific peers and maintain relationships across geographies.
• Support regulatory submissions and inform market access and device requirements.
• Provide portfolio visibility and input to CRC and cross-functional teams.
