The University of Bern invites applications for the Endowed Professorship "Neuromorphic Systems" at the Institute of Physiology.

This tenure-track Assistant Professor position, funded by the Manfred Stärk Foundation, will establish an independent research program in neuromorphic systems at Bern, with collaboration across the Institute of Physiology, ZEN, NeuroTech, ARTORG, Inselspital, and external partners.

Qualifikationen

• The successful candidate will establish an independent research program in neuromorphic systems.
• Proven ability to secure external research funding and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Fluency in English and German (learning window possible).

• Develop theoretical models of brain information processing and neuromorphic hardware.
