Job summary

EY in Basel is offering a 6-month internship in the Mobility Team to tackle daily challenges in Swiss tax and mobility support for employees of international companies. You will contribute to advisory projects and work closely with clients, EY colleagues, and authorities to deliver practical, business-driven solutions.

The role requires a commercial apprenticeship or the first two years of a bachelor’s degree, strong English and German, and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or the first two years of a bachelor’s degree (law, business administration, economics, business informatics or information technology).
• Strong command of English and German; other languages beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility to meet client/department needs and deadlines.
• Attention to detail with commitment to high quality and accuracy; team player and quick learner.

Responsibilities

• During a 6-month internship, you will be responsible for the preparation of Swiss tax returns and day-to-day tax and mobility support for employees of international companies.
• Contributing to special advisory projects (e.g. business traveler, equity-based compensation advice, mobility technology).
• Support client projects and taking on a wide range of project tasks (e.g. tax briefings, research, liaising with authorities, coordination with EY member firms).
• Collaboration with clients on a day-to-day basis.
