Job summary

Rheinfelden Railworks is seeking a skilled rail vehicle technician to diagnose faults in freight wagons, inspect and repair rail vehicles, and ensure smooth operation across Switzerland. The role requires independent work across multiple sites with a company-equipped vehicle.

Applicants should have completed professional training as a mechanic or similar, be able to work autonomously, and ideally have good German language skills. Driving licence category B is required.

Qualifications

• Professional training as a mechanic or similar technical background is required.
• Ability to work independently on different sites.
• Good knowledge of German, both spoken and written, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in defective freight wagons to determine their causes.
• Inspect, maintain and repair rail vehicles.
• Ensure proper functioning of vehicles across Switzerland.
• Operate mainly in the Rheinfelden area and intervene at clients nationwide.
