Job summary

SAEKI is headquartered in Zurich and is building autonomous factories that learn from data. We are seeking an AI Lead to own the learn-and-apply steps of our knowledge loop and to collaborate closely with engineers, operators, and leadership to turn data into actionable factory decisions.

You will define what data to capture, build an MVP learning-factory, and determine when a model is ready for production.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping ML or LLM systems used by real users.
• Strong Python, SQL and data engineering skills; comfortable from raw data to deployed tool.
• Experience starting from zero data: design what to capture and build a tool around it.

Responsibilities

• Identify the key bet in the factory where learning from data adds value.
• Define data capture from day one in collaboration with software engineers.
• Build the first learning-factory MVP and deploy for engineers/operators within weeks.
• Decide what to build, what to buy, and when a model is trustworthy.
• Show measurable results to the company and investors that the factory is learning.
• Grow into the AI Lead role once MVPs are proven.
