fiwo, a social enterprise based in Amriswil, is seeking a maintenance technician to clean and repair internal machinery, procure spare parts, and keep logs in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

You should have completed an apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer, several years of industrial experience, good physical condition, and dexterity. German (B2) preferred; forklift licence is a plus. This is a full-time on-site role.

fiwo is a social enterprise based in Amriswil TG. We mainly work with people who have been excluded from the labour market, offering them a daily structure as well as support in integrating into the primary labour market.

On the productive side, we work with Swiss sheep wool. fiwo is the largest processor of Swiss sheep wool. We collect it throughout Switzerland and then process it into insulation materials for construction, bedding, felting, and fertiliser.

Your main area of responsibility:

• Cleaning and maintenance of internal machines and equipment
• Repairing internal machines and equipment
• Procuring spare parts
• Keeping maintenance and damage logs
• Assisting in production
