Jobtailor in Zürich, Switzerland, is seeking a skilled mechanical designer for sustaining engineering and new product development. You will design, evaluate, and improve metal and plastic parts using SolidWorks, FEM, and CFD, and collaborate with our testing lab to ensure quality and performance.

You will manage small projects, produce precise drawings, and help optimize cost and quality while following internal standards.

Qualifikationen

• Higher Technical Diploma (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• More than 3 years' experience as a mechanical designer.
• Strong knowledge of production processes for metal and plastic parts.
• Proficient with 3D CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks).
• Experience with tools such as FMEA, specification sheets, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong teamworking and collaboration skills.
