We are looking for a Material Project Lead to join our client's team (pharmaceutical industry) as a consultant.

Your Responsabilities

As a Material Project Lead, you are responsible for ensuring the timely availability of raw materials required for production. You will proactively manage material creation, release, and supply processes to meet production timelines. Your role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders to monitor risks, resolve issues, and implement mitigation actions as needed.

• Ensure that the Material Requirements Plan (MRP) is accurately reflected in SAP, to support the production supply plan;
• Maintain and update material plans in response to changes in demand or material availability;
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Planners and Schedulers to keep all material plans current and responsive;
• Set and maintain planning parameters within the planning systems;
• Expedite material readiness by working closely with Procurement, Buyers, and Material Management teams;
• Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to material availability;
• Manage stock mobilization or scrapping actions to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste;
• Contribute to the development of safety stock strategies and inventory plans with Planners and Project Managers;
• Track and report on material availability, including testing and release processes.

About You

With a higher education background in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Planning, you have a proven experience in materials planning, purchasing, or supply chain operations, ideally within a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals.

• Strong stakeholder management and issue/risk resolution skills;
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong team player, able to work effectively in cross-functional settings.

Fluency in English is a must, German preferable.

Hybrid role with 3 days on-site.
