Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a client in Berne, IN to optimize shop-floor processes, improve safety, quality, and throughput. You will analyze workflows and implement practical improvements on the production line.

You’ll design workstation layouts, build kanban systems, develop operator instructions, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams to reduce waste and elevate efficiency.

Qualificações

• Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Associate or Bachelor’s).
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or basic coding is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Optimize Production: Conduct time studies, build Bills of Labor, and set labor rates.
• Design & Layout: Create CAD drawings for workstations, plant layouts, and material flow systems.
• Drive Efficiency: Build kanban systems, write operator work instructions, and automate processes to improve safety and throughput.
• Analyze & Improve: Perform cost analysis, root-cause problem solving, and material/equipment testing.
