Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a proactive Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production, layout workstations, and drive safety and quality on the shop floor. The role focuses on improving throughput through data-driven decisions and strong collaboration with operations.

You will conduct time studies, develop labor standards, create CAD drawings, implement kanban, and perform cost analyses while leveraging Power BI/SQL as a plus. Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Associate or Bachelor’s).
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Production: time studies, Bills of Labor, labor rates.
• Design & Layout: CAD drawings for workstations, layouts, material flow.
• Drive Efficiency: kanban systems, operator work instructions, automation for safety and throughput.
• Analyze & Improve: cost analysis, root-cause problem solving, material/equipment testing.
