Dexterous Endoscopes in Lausanne, Switzerland, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to move prototype endoscope devices into scalable production. You'll work with internal engineering and external manufacturers to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and regulatory compliance, reporting to the CTO.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in manufacturing engineering or product industrialization, preferably in medical devices.
• Fluent in English (C1).
• Experience with DFM and design transfer to production.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes for precision medical devices (e.g., injection molding, precision machining, micro-assembly, device assembly).
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and external suppliers.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and regulated medical device production environments.
• Understanding of medical device manufacturing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience from endoscopy or similar MedTech companies is strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead design for manufacturing (DFM) activities to convert prototype designs into manufacturable products
• Work closely with contract manufacturers to establish production processes
• Optimize device design, components, and assemblies for scalable manufacturing
• Develop and document manufacturing processes and assembly workflows
• Lead design transfer activities from R&D to manufacturing
