Zusammenfassung

Grant Thornton in Geneva is seeking a Manager - Regulatory & Compliance FS (80-100%) to advise Swiss and international banks and asset managers on financial market regulations, including Banking Act, FINMA licensing, AMLA, and related standards.

You will work as an engagement manager delivering risk and compliance consulting, handling complex legal issues, and contributing to interdisciplinary projects within a dynamic, internationally oriented team.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Law or Economics.
• 4-5 years of experience in a similar role in Switzerland, ideally in a Big4 or comparable environment.
• Strong customer and team orientation and high commitment.
• Fluent in French and English.

Aufgaben

• Advise Swiss and international banks, asset managers and other financial service providers on all financial market regulations (Banking Act, FINIA, FINSA, AMLA, CISA, ESG, FINMA licensing, etc).
• Process complex legal issues with consideration of Swiss law and international influences.
• Provide risk and compliance consulting and outsourcing services for financial services clients as engagement manager.
• Work on prudential audit mandates as a specialist in financial regulations.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary projects and support internal initiatives and strategic tasks.

• You are processing complex legal issues, taking into account Swiss legislation and international influences
• As engagement manager, you provide risk and compliance consulting and outsourcing services for financial services clients
• You will work on and be responsible for prudential audit mandates as a specialist in financial regulations
• You contribute to interdisciplinary projects and support internal initiatives and strategic tasks

Your profile

• University degree in Law or in Economics with a strong interest in financial law
• 4-5 years of experience in a similar role in Switzerland, ideally in a Big4 or comparable environment
