Job summary

EY in Geneva seeks a Manager for Financial Accounting Advisory Services to lead complex finance transformation projects, IFRS updates and improving reporting processes for multinational clients.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international setting to deliver integrated services, strengthen internal controls, and optimize operating models with a client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree with professional education (e.g. Swiss CPA/ACCA)
• Experience in Audit and/or Consulting, including IFRS developments
• Proactive, flexible and team-oriented in a fast-paced, international environment

Responsibilities

• Support clients in implementing new accounting standards and transform Finance function and reporting models
• Collaborate with EY FAAS leadership to develop strategies for clients

• Ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Identify and develop new FAAS opportunities and client relationships

Your key responsibilities

• Support our clients in implementing new accounting standards, adapting and transforming their Finance function, reporting processes and operating model - striking an optimal balance between effectiveness, efficiency and control
• Collaborate with the EY FAAS leadership in Switzerland to develop and execute on strategies for individual clients to satisfy high client expectations
• Work with specialists from different departments and subject matter experts in providing an integrated service delivery model across functions in an international team to meet our clients’ high expectations
• Ensure everyone on the team fully understands the client's business needs and expectations to develop client deliverables that are client-focused, clear, accurate and well-presented
• Ensure work is delivered in a timely manner and in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Engage and develop new opportunities related to new FAAS projects, solutions, and relationships

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor or Master degree, complemented with a further relevant professional education (e.g. Swiss Certified Accountant, CPA, or ACCA)
• 6 - 8years of relevant experience in Audit and/or Consulting – incl. expertisein latest IFRS developments
• Proactive, flexible and team-oriented from concept and design through to implementation of projects. You have an intellectual curiosity and you are willing to go “the extra mile”
• Ability to leverage your relevant external network and build your internal networks in a fast-paced and international environment investing in sustainable relationships
