This is a hands‑on role covering stock control, incoming goods inspection, production material preparation, shipping, and day‑to‑day logistics. The role reports to the Manufacturing Lead and works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and external suppliers.

Do you have some practical logistics or warehouse experience and experience working with an ERP or inventory‑management system?

You do not need to be a technical expert from day one - Basic technical understanding, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are more important. We will provide training on our products, inspection methods, and internal processes.

Tasks

Stock & Production Material :

  • Maintain accurate physical and ERP inventory.
  • Organize the stock room, storage locations, labels, and material identification.
  • Perform stock checks and investigate inventory differences.
  • Prepare and kit materials for production and replenish production stock.

Incoming Goods & Quality :

  • Receive deliveries and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Perform basic incoming inspection of mechanical, electrical, and other supplied components.
  • Carry out visual and simple dimensional checks using drawings, specifications, samples, and measuring tools.
  • Document non-conforming material and coordinate issues with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and suppliers.

Shipping & Final QC :

  • Prepare customer and supplier shipments.
  • Perform final checks before shipment, including quantities, serial numbers, accessories, and documentation.
  • Pack products and prepare shipping labels, packing lists, and other required documents.
  • Arrange and track domestic and international shipments with logistics providers.

Internal Logistics & Process Improvement :

  • Help improve material flow from incoming goods through storage, production, and shipment.
  • Support development of simple and reliable stock‑room and logistics processes.
  • Keep ERP and inventory processes accurate and practical for daily use.
  • Identify recurring logistics problems and help implement improvements as production grows.
Requirements
  • Some practical experience in logistics, warehouse operations, manufacturing, production, or a similar environment.
  • Experience working with an ERP, MRP, or inventory‑management system.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic technical understanding and willingness to learn how to read part numbers, BOMs, drawings, and inspection instructions.
  • Comfortable working hands‑on with physical products, components, packaging, and production materials.
  • Sufficient physical strength to safely lift and carry heavier boxes, components, and production materials as part of normal daily work.
  • Basic experience or practical knowledge of using a forklift or similar material‑handling equipment is an advantage.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • EU/EFTA citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit.
Nice to Have
  • Forklift licence.
  • Experience with Odoo, Aligni, or a similar ERP/MRP system.
  • Experience with incoming inspection, quality control, or technical products.
  • Experience with international shipping, customs, DHL, FedEx, DSV, or similar logistics providers.
  • Experience in hardware, electronics, robotics, automotive, aerospace, or another technical manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, or multimeters.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Basic German.
Benefits
  • Flexible working hours with core time from 10:00 to 17:00
  • Comprehensive training on products and production procedures
  • Hands‑on experience with advanced drone and robotics technology
  • On‑site parking, occasional team lunches, and team events
