Jobbeschreibung

Hexagon Robotics is a division of Hexagon – a global leader in precision measurement. The division develops humanoid robots for industrial sectors to address labor shortages and accelerate the transition from automation to autonomy. Our first humanoid, AEON, was launched in June 2025 and is already in pilots with five customers.

Hexagon Robotics builds humanoid robots for logistics centres and factory environments. We are a team of ~120 people, in late-pilot stage and approaching our first commercial deliveries. Every robot that reaches a customer site or a commercial event does so because someone made sure it left our facility correctly – packaged, labelled, documented, and tracked all the way there. This is that role.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on, physical role at the centre of our day‑to‑day operations. You will be responsible for preparing robot units (and other equipment) for shipment, keeping our inventory accurate, and supporting the Field Application + Production Teams with everything they need in the field – outbound, returns, and everything in between.

Getting this right matters directly. A delayed shipment or a mislabelled package can set back a customer deployment by weeks. You will be the person who makes sure that does not happen.

Your Mission

Physical operations – your primary focus from day one

  • Pack and prepare robot units and equipment for domestic and international shipment – every unit leaves correctly packaged, labelled, and documented
  • Support the Field Application Team & the Production team with the full logistics cycle: outbound to customer sites, equipment returns, and everything in between
  • Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, checking for completeness, accuracy, and physical condition
  • Record materials in our inventory tool and keep it accurate and up to date – label everything clearly and maintain a simple tracking overview
  • Maintain organised storage so components and materials are easy to locate, track, and reuse
  • Identify opportunities to simplify how things work and flag issues before they become problems
Your Skillset

What matters most is that you are genuinely excited about what we do and comfortable with the physical, hands‑on side of logistics – and that you are the kind of person who takes ownership and follows through.

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or operational support environment – you know how to handle equipment carefully, work with urgency, and stay organised under pressure
  • Meticulous attention to detail – a mislabelled box or an incorrect packing list has real consequences here
  • Practical and organised – you take pride in keeping things in order and do not need to be chased to follow through
  • Self‑directed and reliable – you flag issues early and look for better ways of doing things
  • Curious about the documentation and compliance side of logistics, and motivated to build expertise in it over time
  • Fluent in German and English
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to import/export documentation, customs processes, or dangerous goods regulations (IATA/ADR)
  • Familiarity with inventory tools or spreadsheets for tracking and record‑keeping
  • Experience in a hardware, manufacturing, or deep‑tech environment
What You’ll Get
  • The chance to build something from the ground up at a company doing genuinely hard, meaningful work
  • Close collaboration with engineering and field teams
  • We invest in people who want to develop: you can grow into learning more about documentation, processes, compliance
  • Bonus system and strong pension contributions
  • A warm, international team built on respect, flat hierarchy, and direct communication
