Zusammenfassung

Lonza Group Ltd. in Visp is seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic to repair and replace malfunctioning equipment in a sterile, cGMP environment.

You will perform functional tests, document repairs, and ensure batch execution while resolving issues and contributing to continuous improvements. The role requires an EFZ apprenticeship in mechanical production, several years of experience, strong German language skills, and a willingness to work 3 shifts and be on call.

Qualifikationen

• Completed EFZ apprenticeship as a mechanic or related profession (production mechanic, car mechanic, etc.).
• Several years of experience as a mechanic is advantageous.
• Excellent interpretation of P&ID diagrams or drawings.
• Very good knowledge of German is essential; English is an advantage.
• Independent and precise way of working.
• Customer-oriented and open to new ideas.
• Very good knowledge of English is essential; German is an advantage.
• Willing to work in a 3-shift pattern, including Saturdays.
• Willing to be part of on-call duty.

Aufgaben

• Repairing or replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment in the clean room and sterile environment (experience with aseptic filling lines is preferable).
• Perform functional tests to validate the effectiveness of repair work.
• Maintain records of maintenance services and repairs.
• Execute manufacturing activities in the area of Drug Product according to cGMP guidelines, ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, resolving issues, troubleshooting equipment and making recommendations for resolution.
• Eliminate faults in the systems.
• Open and track malfunction reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvements.
• Coordinate with Plant Engineering and provide support.
• Coordinate work processes in consultation with team leaders.
• Advanced handling of SAP, Cornerstone, DMS, Office 365.
