Job summary

Climeworks seeks a qualified lawyer to join its in-house legal team in Opfikon, Zurich, working onsite at least three days per week. You will provide broad corporate and commercial legal support, negotiate agreements, and help accelerate delivery of legal services across the organization.

Ideal candidates have a solid background in corporate law and finance, with Swiss bar admission, and comfort in a fast-paced, international environment. German fluency is a plus.

• Provide legal advisory across the organization and accelerate delivery of services.
• Draft and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements for the Climeworks Group.
• Support partnerships and business development with a legal lens.
• Coordinate external legal support and design scalable processes.
• Align stakeholders across client groups to ensure project success.

• Legal Advisory: You join a thought-leading in-house legal team that provides high-quality, pragmatic legal advice to all parts of the organization. You devise and implement measures to accelerate delivery of those services.




• Corporate Legal Support: You negotiate and draft agreements across the Climeworks Group and serve as a primary point of contact on a broad range topics such as corporate law, commercial contracts, and compliance.




• Commercial Partnership: You enthusiastically embrace work on a variety of legal and commercial matters to promote attainment of the company’s objectives.




• Legal Operations: You coordinate external legal support and design and implement scalable and cost-effective approaches to legal work.




• Stakeholder Alignment: You will help ensure alignment of the purpose and work of and between your client groups.

• Legal expertise: You are a qualified lawyer with a solid background in corporate law and finance, commercial contracts, and business transactions. Swiss bar admission and/or demonstrated experience in practice areas such as employment law, technology transactions, public policy, or project development and finance will be considered a plus.




• Adaptability: You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, often-shifting, and international work environment.

Salary:

At Climeworks, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on the level of seniority and the location specific market median of similar jobs according to external benchmark surveys. Individual compensation depends on your skills, experience, and the value you bring to the team.
