UniDistance Suisse invites applications for a Lecturer position in the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence. The role covers the M06 Advanced Deep Learning module (10 ECTS, 18% workload) with a start date of August 1, 2027.

You will teach, develop and deliver online module content, provide online resources on the teaching platform, and support students together with the teaching assistant, while continuously improving the module.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Deep Learning, AI, CS, EE, or related field with active research.
• Strong university teaching experience; distance teaching is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Teach the module M06 Advanced Deep Learning.
• Develop and deliver online module content.
• Provide online resources and learning materials for the teaching platform.
• Support the students during the semester in cooperation with the teaching assistant.
• Organise and deliver online exercise classes and online lectures with the teaching assistant.

Module completion: each autumn semester (beginning of August to end of January)

Your responsibilities

• Teaching the module M06 Advanced Deep Learning.
• Developing and delivering module content suitable for online teaching.
• Providing online resources and learning material for our teaching platform.
• Supporting the students during the semester in cooperation with the teaching assistant.
• Organising and delivering online exercise classes and online lectures during the semester in cooperation with the teaching assistant.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the module content and learning experience.

Your profile

• Strong background in teaching at a university level, experience in distance teaching is an asset.
• PhD in Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with strong active research in deep learning and modern AI methods.
• Fluent in English (teaching language); knowledge of German and/or French is an asset.
