Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a senior VDC professional to lead project-level VDC workflows, integrating model-based processes to improve cost, schedule and quality. You will mentor engineers, coordinate across design, engineering, and construction teams, and set up projects to host BIM data following DPR best practices.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–6 years of VDC/BIM experience; strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. An equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Building Information Modeling (BIM), or a related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Leads implementation of project-specific VDC workflows including coordination, quantification, and visual planning in alignment with DPR standards.
• Oversees model setup, integration, and management across disciplines, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
• Identifies and resolves design and coordination conflicts early to minimize construction impacts and improve field productivity.
• Collaborates with design and trade partners to facilitate model-based communication, fabrication alignment, and sequencing visualization.
• Prepares visuals, drawings, and documentation from models to support project communication and RFI processing.
• Trains and mentors project team members in the use of VDC tools and best practices to improve project delivery efficiency.
