Harmattan AI in Lausanne is seeking a senior IC to own the analog power chain across UXV platforms, from MOSFET commutation to PCB layout and lab validation. This is a builder role focused on shipping hardware rather than research.

You will be the technical reference for power electronics inside the Lausanne engineering hub, unblocking propulsion, airframe, and embedded teams as we scale from prototype cadence to multi-platform deployment.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on R&D in motor drives or high-power electronics.
• Mastery of MOSFET commutation and gate-drive design.
• Ownership of a motor-controller PCBA from prototype to production.
• Fluency in simulation (LTspice/PLECS/Simulink) and PCB design (Altium).
• Strong EMI/EMC design and debugging skills.
• Lab-bench discipline with practical debugging.
• Willingness for end-to-end ownership and fast iteration.
• English fluent; French is a plus.

• Lead power stage architecture for multiple UXV platforms.
• Design MOSFET commutation and gate-drive solutions.
• Run multi-fidelity simulations and models.
• Design three-phase BLDC drive stages with sensing and protection.
• Lead high-power-density PCBA layout with thermal management.
• Drive EMI/EMC pre-compliance work and debugging.
• Guide prototype-to-production transitions and DFM.
• Perform lab validation with power analyzers and scopes.
• Collaborate with embedded teams on FOC tuning.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain design records.
