Novartis Pharma AG in Basel, Switzerland is seeking a Drug Product Project Leader (DPPL) to drive late-phase oral drug product development. You will lead DP development strategies, manage budgets and timelines, and coach high-performing cross-functional teams to deliver compliant CMC documentation.

You will collaborate with global development teams, apply quality-by-design principles, assess risks, and ensure alignment with internal functions and external partners.

Qualifications

• Advanced Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Powder Process Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in development of pharmaceutical formulations.
• Strong understanding of Quality by Design (QbD) and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in GMP/GLP environments.
• Excellent leadership, scientific, and project management and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Represent DP project teams, providing quality awareness and technical leadership.
• Develop robust DP project strategies, including risk assessments and budgets.
• Consolidate resources and lead budgeting for DP activities.
• Ensure adherence to governance processes and DP strategies within the team.
• Oversee cross-functional interactions, track plans, and deliver DP documentation for CMC submissions.
• Understand how formulation design and process parameters influence product performance.
