Are you ready to take on the role of Laboratory Technician (all genders) in our analytical Quality Control laboratory, located in the breathtaking Visp? Join our groundbreaking laboratory that boasts brand‑new technology and instruments, and collaborate with a vibrant and international team. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around conducting routine analysis of biopharmaceuticals using HPLC and capillary electrophoresis techniques. This role offers a lot of variety with many different projects and a wide variety of HPLC techniques (e.g. RP, SEC) and many different HPLC detectors (e.g. UV, fluorescence), as well as capillary electrophoresis (CE‑SDS and icIEF).

What you’ll do
  • Join our Quality Control team and perform analytical methods in line with SOPs, GMP and safety rules, specifically focusing on HPLC analyses
  • You adhere to quality guidelines and perform both practical laboratory work and essential administrative tasks, including detailing results and crafting work instructions.
  • At the same time, you support laboratory maintenance (equipment responsibility) and ensure that the laboratory is clean and tidy
  • The varied responsibilities also include close cooperation with shift workers
What we’re looking for
  • Apprenticeship as laboratory technician, CTA, BSc in Chemistry /Biochemistry or similar education
  • Hands‑on experience with HPLC is highly preferred
  • Work experience in a GMP environment in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus
  • You are conscientious, structured and responsible and you are able to adjust in a flexible manner to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English, German is an additional advantage
