Job summary

Nestlé S.A. is seeking a Lab Data Technology Specialist within the Computational Sciences group to reinforce laboratory data foundations and transform raw instrument data into trusted, reusable assets for scientific research.

You will bridge science, lab data, and modern data engineering, leveraging data technologies and AI-enabled tools to accelerate impactful research across Nestlé Research.

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific or computational discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience applying data engineering to scientific laboratory data.
• Experience with lab data ecosystems and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, well-documented technical solutions.
• Enable end-to-end lab data flows from instruments to data warehouses, including connectivity and data movement.
• Collaborate on lab digital platforms (LIMS, instrument integration, processing, metadata capture) for efficiency, quality, and governance.
• Identify opportunities to increase value of lab data across sources using data technologies and QA checks.
• Support testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of compliant, scalable lab solutions, including AI-enabled data flows.
