Job summary

East Stroudsburg Area School District is seeking a Special Education Coach to lead and support high-quality SPED services across the district (K-12). You will coach staff, promote inclusive programming, and help drive data-driven decisions to improve academic, social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes.

The role requires strong collaboration with educators, service providers, and administrators to ensure compliance, effective programming, and staff development in line with current best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience in special education.
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with students with learning, developmental, and/or emotional/behavioral disabilities.
• Expertise in implementing evidence-based instructional and behavioral interventions.
• In-depth knowledge of special education processes, including compliance, timelines, documentation, and case management.
• Strong data analysis and data-based decision making for instructional planning and behavior management.
• Knowledge of curriculum content, instructional design, and current best practices.
• Experience using educational technology and digital tools to support instruction and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and programmatic support to ensure delivery of comprehensive special education services district-wide (K-12).
• Strengthen instructional practices and promote inclusive and specialized programming.
• Collaborate with educators, service providers, and administrators to build staff capacity and ensure alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
