The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with a maximum of 2 years of experience. You must be a national of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State to qualify.
Join the Geodetic Metrology group at CERN, where you will contribute to the high-precision metrology and alignment of critical accelerator components for the High-Luminosity LHC project. You will work with state-of-the-art surveying instruments, sensor networks, and alignment software to achieve sub-millimetre and micrometre-level accuracy in a challenging underground environment. Your main focus will be the support of the preparation, installation, and commissioning of the Full Remote Adjustment System (FRAS), including micrometric sensor deployment and commissioning.
