Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor seeks an IT operations helper to assist in keeping our infrastructure reliable and secure. You will learn under guidance, patch and back up systems, deploy new services, and support migrations to improved solutions.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines, IaC tools like Kubernetes and Terraform, and observability tooling. Strong motivation to learn and German/English skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Completed IT apprenticeship (EFZ) or comparable education.
• Solid Linux/Unix fundamentals including shell, processes and permissions.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP, DHCP, DNS, gateways, firewalling).
• First scripting experience (Bash; exposure to Python/PowerShell/Golang).
• Basic container understanding (Docker basics).
• Motivation to learn new technologies.
• Fluent German and good English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Support the team in keeping infrastructure and deployment processes reliable, scalable, and secure – guided learning.
• Help maintain and improve systems (patching, updates, backups, certificate management) under guidance.
• Assist with deploying new services and supporting migrations to improved solutions.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across the platform.
• Support building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines (e.g. Bitbucket Pipelines, ArgoCD).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code components (e.g. Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform) under guidance.
• Help maintain and improve observability tooling (e.g. CheckMK, Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Prometheus & Sentry).
• Support automated security checks in CI/CD (e.g. SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Write and maintain clear, easy-to-follow technical documentation.

Requirements

• Completed IT apprenticeship (e.g. Informatiker/in EFZ) or comparable education, or first professional experience in IT operations/infrastructure.
• Solid Linux/Unix fundamentals – shell, processes, file systems, permissions, and remote access (SSH/RDP).
• Basic networking knowledge (IP, DHCP, DNS, gateways, firewalling).
• First experience with scripting (Bash, with exposure to Python, PowerShell, or Golang).
• Basic understanding of containers (container vs. VM, Docker basics).
• A genuine motivation to learn new technologies where the knowledge is not yet there.
• Fluent German and good English, written and spoken.
