Junior Chief of Staff (100%)

This role is created for highly ambitious, hard-working and multi-talented personalities. For individuals that can work highly focused and detailed while still understanding the entire big picture. This unique opportunity entrusts you with responsibilities in following areas:

  • Operations (operations management, processes, automation) ca. 30-50% of your time
  • Community Growth (acquisition of Locals, quality control of Locals) ca. 10-30%
  • Brand & Communication (corporate brand, founder’s brand) ca. 10-20%

ABOUT YOU

You have an allrounder mindset. You will work very closely with the founder and the CEO-office team of LocalBini AG ensuring the business continuity and growth.

The ideal candidate is willing to work hard and do a wide variety of tasks - some of which could be "boring" but still essential. Within the first year, your key focus will lie on operations management (processing bookings, interacting with customers) allowing you to fully understand our business.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed Bachelor or Master in Business Administration, Computer Science, Financial Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Physics from a leading university.
  • Post-degree, minimum two (2) years of practical experience in travel industry OR consulting, tech companies, finance/VC/startup OR long-lasting experience in a political party.
  • At least one international experience (e.g. work mission or semester/internship abroad).
  • Strong social competences and emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to work with limited guidance and proactively collaborate with multiple stakeholders across and outside of LocalBini: given the scope of work, you should be able to jump from one topic to another with a similar impact.
  • Business sense: to think at the company level, assessing what would be best for the business, and working on topics that have cross-cutting impacts. The ability to understand what can make a business great (product-wise, commercially, in terms of image, etc.), and usually making correct decisions, even in the presence of ambiguity, is paramount.
  • Fluent in English and German (mandatory). A third language is a plus!

With a salary package that consists of cash + shares (50%-50%) worth CHF 72k in the first year and CHF 120k in the second one.
