Junior Business Analyst / Requirements Consultant (f/m/d)

The Business Solutions & Applications Consultant acts as the bridge between the Swiss business and technology teams. The role is responsible for understanding business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, translating requirements into practical solutions, and ensuring continuity of critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering

• Act as primary contact for business stakeholders regarding application enhancements and process improvements.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and efficiency gains.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and implementation plans.
• Facilitate workshops and requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Drive solution design together with business and technical teams.

Application Ownership & Business Continuity

• Support business-critical applications including winVS and related ecosystem solutions.
• Maintain oversight of bespoke workflows, dialogs, automations, reports, and integrations.
• Coordinate incident resolution and prioritize business-critical defects.
• Ensure business continuity through proper documentation, knowledge management, and operational ownership.
• Act as escalation point for business application issues and enhancement requests.

Solution Delivery & Process Improvement

• Manage and deliver enhancement initiatives from idea through implementation.
• Support projects involving Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, AI-enabled solutions, future CRM solutions
• Coordinate testing, user acceptance, deployment, communication, and adoption activities.
• Work with internal and external technology providers to implement solutions.

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships across the Swiss business.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Align priorities across Operations, Technical Accounting, IT, and leadership teams.
• Support change management and user enablement activities.

Future Platform Evolution

• Support the evolution of the application landscape and future platform transitions.
• Evaluate solutions and recommend approaches based on business value rather than technology preference.
• Contribute to the definition of future capabilities and operating models.

Your Profile

• Completed or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable commercial or IT-related field.
• Initial experience (2-5 years) in business analysis, requirements engineering, application support, project coordination, or process improvement.
• Good understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), or similar business application platforms.
• Basic understanding of application integrations, interfaces, workflows, and automation concepts.
• Strong interest in technology-enabled business improvements, AI solutions, and digital transformation.
• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn new technologies and platforms.
• Strong organizational, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Service-oriented individual who takes ownership, delivers high-quality work, and can operate effectively between business and technical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English; French is a plus.
