Job summary

DXT Commodities in Lugano is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Accounting team. The role is open to junior professionals with 1–3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or similar roles, and is a full-time permanent position.

You will work both as part of a closely knit team and individually. Full on-the-job training will be given by your mentor and colleagues in a fast-moving professional environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or audit.
• Master’s degree in business, economics, or management.
• Proficient in English and Italian; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Record, review and reconcile accounting transactions in compliance with company policies and IFRS accounting standards.
• Prepare and coordinate daily payment instructions with banking counterparties, monitor cash movements, and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Support quarterly closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of IFRS and Local GAAP statutory financial statements.
• Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes by providing documentation, analyses, and explanations as required.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from management, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the enhancement, standardization, and automation of accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.

As part of our continued growth, a new opening has arisen in our Accounting team at our headquarters in Lugano. This position is open to junior professionals with 1 – 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or similar roles.

The nature of the role will require you to work both as part of a closely knit team and individually.
