The Senior System Engineer plays a key role in providing secure, stable, and scalable IT infrastructure services according to Rieter’s global business needs. This position is mainly responsible for the global server and storage hardware infrastructure operated in on premise data centers and covers the areas of architecture, design, implementation, operation, monitoring, standardization, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement.
The position owner is jointly responsible for core IT infrastructure services operated internally and works closely with global IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure reliable and future-oriented infrastructure services.
