Zusammenfassung

Connect44 is looking for a determined IT Help Desk Support Engineer to join our Zurich-based team. The role covers workplace support, AV and meeting room systems, server room maintenance, and project assistance.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT and 1–3+ years in desktop support, network maintenance, and incident troubleshooting, with English fluency and a preference for Chinese. On-site work in Zürich with a permanent contract.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of hands-on IT desktop support, office network maintenance, and infrastructure operations.
• Skillful in troubleshooting laptop/desktop hardware, operating systems, and office software.
• Strong understanding of building-level LAN architecture and common network protocols/configurations (e.g., VLAN, STP).
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls). Familiarity with Huawei or Cisco equipment is preferred.
• Solid understanding of AV/meeting room infrastructure and peripheral maintenance.
• Scripting or basic programming experience (e.g., Python or Java) is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Workplace & User Support: provide comprehensive workplace technology support to employees, including OS installation/configuration and office software support.
• Infrastructure, Inspection & Daily Operations: inspect and maintain IT/AV equipment, monitor servers, routers, switches, and firewalls; monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• VIP Meeting Assurance & Project Support: provide technical support for critical video meetings and assist in planning and deploying IT projects; maintain network diagrams and asset inventories.
