PwC in Zürich is seeking an Intern/Trainee to join the Investor Trust Services team within Assurance. You will assist in auditing investment processes, performance, risk management, and valuations of financial instruments and derivatives.

You will gain exposure to audits at financial institutions, focus on internal controls, governance, and emerging technologies, while collaborating with an international team and receiving ongoing coaching.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, Accounting, or related field with at least four semesters completed.
• Strong willingness to learn and genuine interest in financial markets and the investment management industry.
• Analytical mindset and ability to investigate topics in a structured manner.
• Dynamic, communicative and collaborative with clients and international teams.
• Proactive ownership and growth mindset in a coaching-driven environment.
• Interest in data analytics, digital tools and emerging technologies is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and fluency in written and spoken English; German/French an asset.

Aufgaben

• Support audit engagements for investment processes, performance, risk management and valuations of financial instruments and derivatives.
• Assist with audits related to compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) for asset managers.
• Gain exposure to audits at financial institutions focusing on internal controls and governance processes.
• Explore and apply digital audit and data analytics tools to deliver robust analyses for clients.
• Work with a diverse team in an international network and receive coaching and feedback.
