You will work in a hybrid model and contribute to cutting-edge power electronics, energy storage, and switching technologies, driving impact through rigorous testing and optimization.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Engineering, or a Master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in power electronic converter design, optimization, and testing.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in design, validation of high-power medium-voltage converters and/or grid-connected three-phase inverters.
• Experience with embedded hardware development and programming of FPGAs (VHDL) and/or microcontrollers for power electronic applications.

Aufgaben

• Simulate, compare, and optimize power electronic topologies and converter systems for a wide range of applications, including system-level studies and performance evaluations.
• Design, implement, commission, and experimentally validate advanced power converter systems, from proof-of-concept models to full-scale demonstrators.
• Develop and advance innovative power electronic topologies, control strategies, and converter solutions for emerging applications.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues within the team and across disciplines, mentoring team members and contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
