Zusammenfassung

Roche Holding AG sucht im MSAT-Bereich am Standort Rotkreuz eine/n Praktikant/in, der/die das Shopfloor-Team unterstützt und praktische Erfahrungen in der Medizingeräteproduktion sammelt. Sie arbeiten eng mit Produktionsmitarbeitern, lösen MES-Exzeptionen und begleiten Change-Management-Prozesse.

Sie befassen sich mit der Dokumentation gemäß GMP/GDP-Richtlinien, führen Root-Cause-Analysen durch und dokumentieren Wissen in internen Wiki-Artikeln. Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse sind Voraussetzung.

Qualifikationen

• Derzeit als Bachelor- oder Masterstudierende/r eingeschrieben (oder Abschluss in den letzten 12 Monaten) in Life Sciences, Chemie, Prozessengineering, Biotechnologie oder einem verwandten Bereich.
• Gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind erforderlich.

Aufgaben

• Operativer Shopfloor-Support: Ansprechpartner und SME für Produktionsmitarbeiter direkt an der Linie.
• MES-Fehlerbehebung: Untersuchung technischer Ausnahmen, Systemfehler und Qualitätsprobleme zur Minimierung von Ausfällen.
• IRM: Leitung von Untersuchungen, Root-Cause-Analysen und Koordination von Korrekturmaßnahmen zum Schutz von Produktqualität und Sicherheit.
• Dokumentation & Change Management: Erstellung und Pflege GMP/GDP-anerkannter Dokumente und Begleitung von Change-Management-Prozessen.
• Wissensdokumentation: Pflege von Produkt- und Prozesswissen in internen Wiki-Artikeln.

Die Position

The Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) team, part of Sensor & Cartridge (S&C) Operations, is dedicated to supporting the manufacturing and quality control of Roche Blood Gas and Electrolyte (BG&E) Sensors and Reagents. These systems are a critical part of first-frontier diagnostics, delivering fast, reliable results in patient-critical settings like the intensive care unit, emergency room, and operating room.

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team in Rotkreuz, Switzerland.

In this role, you will be right at the heart of our daily manufacturing operations (Shopfloor). You will support production operators, solve real-time exceptions within our Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and handle deviations to secure the safe release and acceptance of produced batches.

The Opportunity

As an MSAT intern, you will gain hands‑on experience in the medical device industry by contributing directly to shopfloor operations and operational engineering. Your work will directly impact our ability to produce life‑saving diagnostic systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operational & Shopfloor Support: Acting as an intermediate support contact and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for production operators directly on the line.

• MES Troubleshooting: Investigating and solving technical exceptions, system errors, and quality issues within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to minimize downtime.

• Improvement & Resolution Management (IRM): Managing detected or potential quality events with the primary goal of ensuring product safety and efficacy. Leading investigations, performing root cause analyses, and coordinating corrective actions.

• Document & Change Management: Creating and managing GxP‑compliant documents (manufacturing / QC process documentation, work instructions). Guiding operational changes through formal Change Management pathways to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Knowledge Documentation: Ensuring product, system, and process knowledge is well‑documented in internal Wiki articles for easy access and operational retention.

Who You Are

You are a current Bachelor or Master student (or graduated within the last 12 months) in life sciences, chemistry, process engineering, biotechnology, applied informatics, or a related field. You are a communicative problem‑solver, thrive in dynamic environments, and are excited about working in close proximity to actual production lines.

Additionally, you bring:

• A strong desire to be present on the shopfloor and interact directly with cross‑functional operational teams.

• Excellent collaboration skills to coordinate tasks with both internal and external partners.
