Deloitte AG invites you to join its Financial Services Audit internship in Zurich/Basel from October 2027 to March 2028. You will conduct audits for major organisations, work with experienced colleagues, and contribute to shaping Deloitte's services while developing professionally.

This 80-100% internship is based at our Zurich/Basel offices, offering robust training, mentorship, and a path toward Swiss CPA certification as you grow in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration or Economics (ideally with a specialization in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or Controlling)
• Excellent analytical competencies and interest in understanding banking and finance
• Fluent in English; French or Italian are a plus
• Attitude aligned with Deloitte core values: curious, courageous, respectful, connected

How you can make an impact

• Gain insight into how financial services organizations operate and the economic and industry challenges they are facing
• Drive effective and reliable financial and non-financial reporting as a forward-looking auditor with in-depth business process and internal controls understanding
• Develop expertise in financial services regulations (e.g., AMLO-FINMA) and support organizations in meeting evolving regulatory requirements. Conduct regulatory audits that identify compliance gaps, assess control effectiveness, and drive remediation strategies to ensure adherence to supervisory expectations and industry standards.
• Develop people early on in your career and build a broad professional network
• Bring your fresh ideas and pioneer thinking to the forefront early in your career at Deloitte
• Go a clear, long-term career path and receive first-class training for your professional development, including support to qualify as Swiss certified public accountant (Swiss CPA). ( )

What you bring to succeed

• You come with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration or Economics (ideally with a specialization in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or Controlling)
• You have excellent analytical competencies and are interested in understanding the world of banking and finance
• You enjoy solving complex challenges in a team and are interested in the financial market, as well as innovation, and transformation (including but not limited to data analytics)
• You are fluent in and English, French or Italian are a plus
