Job summary

The NOMIS Foundation-ETH Fellowship Programme supports postdoctoral researchers at ETH Zurich within the Centre for Origin and Prevalence of Life (COPL). The programme is designed to foster the development of young interdisciplinary researchers who have demonstrated scientific excellence and to enable independence and high-risk, fundamental research.

Once appointed, fellows gain access to an international network of researchers and institutions, participate in COPL events, and may contribute to

Qualifications

• PhD completed or submitted at time of application.
• Affiliation to an academic/research institution.
• Ability to engage in interdisciplinary research and international collaborations.
• Willingness to participate in teaching activities.

Responsibilities

• Engage in COPL activities and attend events.
• Establish independent research ties with network members.
• Contribute to NOMIS events and host collaborations as schedule allows.
• Provide teaching duties or contribute to teaching activities as specified in the application.
• Support the research project and plan for the fourth year if funded.
