Instructional Designer / Admin

Pay: $30–35/hr, paid weekly
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Duration: 1 year+ assignment
Location: On-site, Bellevue, WA 98006

The Learning & Development team seeks an organized, hands‑on Instructional Designer / Learning Administrator to manage and redesign training content and coordinate learning projects. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can balance design, stakeholder collaboration, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Design

• Develop interactive eLearning using Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise)
• Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure content accuracy
• Support ongoing learning projects and initiatives

Learning Administration

• Upload and assign courses in LMS and CMS
• Create and manage assignment groups; monitor progress and troubleshoot issues
• Respond to user tickets and resolve technical problems
• Coordinate communications and assignment dates with other learning administrators

Qualifications

• 7+ years of instructional design and project management experience
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications (ID, PMP, Learning Tech) preferred
• Proficient in Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise)
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM)
• LMS administration experience (OnPoint, Cornerstone, SumTotal, Docebo, Litmos, etc.)
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Comfortable managing shifting priorities and ambiguity

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing for global/multi-language audiences
• Fast‑paced corporate or tech environment experience
• Strong visual design and storytellingProject management or LMS administration certifications

Technology Requirements

• LMS experience (OnPoint preferred; other platforms accepted)

Typical Day

Manage and troubleshoot the LMS, build and update eLearning content, analyze usage data, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure functional, engaging, and aligned learning experiences.
