Zusammenfassung

CordenPharma Liestal in Switzerland is seeking a highly qualified PhD scientist to independently plan, execute, and evaluate solid-state development studies for pharmaceutical compounds.

You will apply XRPD, DSC, TGA, DVS, Raman spectroscopy and FTIR, perform crystallization investigations from screening to lab scale, and collaborate with Solid-State Development, Process Development, Analytical Development and Manufacturing Science. German is advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Physical Chemistry, Solid-State Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, or related field.
• Strong understanding of crystallization processes, thermodynamics, phase behaviour and solid-state properties.
• Hands-on experience with XRPD, DSC, TGA, DVS, Raman, FTIR or related methods.
• Ability to translate literature into practical development strategies.
• Excellent English; German is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Plan, execute and evaluate solid-state development studies independently.
• Identify and propose innovative research topics with internal stakeholders.
• Perform literature reviews and develop experimental strategies.
• Design crystallization and solid-state studies from screening to lab scale.
• Apply analytical techniques (XRPD, DSC, TGA, DVS, Raman, FTIR, microscopy) and interpret data.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project updates for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Solid-State Development, Process Development, Analytical Development and Manufacturing Science.
