Zusammenfassung

Jobup, a well-established stainless steel and metal products producer, invites applications for an Industrialisation & Methods Engineer in Brügg (BE). You will analyse customer needs with sales, develop and industrialise new products, and define manufacturing processes while supporting production tests.

You will standardise processes, maintain ERP data, manage process changes, and contribute to cost analysis and production support in a technical, international context.

Qualifikationen

  • HES Engineer or ES Technician in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, materials science, or equivalent training.
  • Strong interest in industrial processes and metallurgy.
  • Initial experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
  • Native French or German speaker with good knowledge of the other language.

Aufgaben

  • Analyse customer needs in collaboration with the sales teams.
  • Develop and industrialise new products.
  • Define manufacturing processes and sequences.
  • Conduct or support tests on production equipment.
  • Analyse results and propose necessary adaptations.
  • Compile industrialisation dossiers.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing sequences.
  • Standardise processes to capitalise on best practices.
  • Ensure consistency and reliability of technical data in the ERP system.
  • Participate in managing process changes and product lifecycle.
  • Establish cost prices for new products.
  • Analyse manufacturing costs and identify improvement potentials.
  • Support sales teams in preparing offers.
  • Support initial series production.
  • Participate in resolving technical issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

We are a well-established stainless steel and metal products production and distribution group, headquartered in Brügg, (BE). Our Industry division consists of several business units that manufacture, for very diverse and demanding end markets, high-precision flat and round wires, profiles, strips, and sheets in a wide range of alloys.

We are looking for a:

Industrialisation & Methods Engineer
Your tasks:
  • Analyse customer needs in collaboration with the sales teams.
  • Develop and industrialise new products.
  • Define manufacturing processes and sequences.
  • Conduct or support tests on production equipment.
  • Analyse results and propose necessary adaptations.
  • Compile industrialisation dossiers.
Methods & Work Preparation (AVOR):
  • Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing sequences.
  • Standardise processes to capitalise on best practices.
  • Ensure consistency and reliability of technical data in the ERP system.
  • Participate in managing process changes and product lifecycle.
Cost analysis:
  • Establish cost prices for new products.
  • Analyse manufacturing costs and identify improvement potentials.

Production support:
