Job summary

ANYbotics AG in Zurich seeks an Industrialization/Electronics Test Engineer to scale electronics production testing for the ANYmal platforms. You will own test systems, deploy ICT and end-of-line tests, and drive root-cause analysis to improve yield while collaborating with R&D, quality, and EMS partners.

You will contribute to industrialization of the ANYmal X and future robots, introducing scalable testing practices and hardware maintenance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Proven experience in electronics test engineering within a production or hardware manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on expertise developing, building, and deploying functional test systems for PCBAs and electronic assemblies.
• Strong hardware debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Practical familiarity with standard test equipment and hardware interfaces.
• Understanding of hardware communication protocols including CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and Ethernet.
• Experience with test automation and scripting languages like Python or LabVIEW.
• Proactive, hands-on mindset collaborating with physical hardware and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve existing and next-generation electronics production test systems for ANYmal products.
• Develop and deploy ICT and end-of-line test solutions for PCBAs and electronic assemblies.
• Drive root-cause analysis on production failures and test data to boost manufacturing quality and yield.
• Support industrialization and rollout of ANYmal X and future robotic platforms.
• Introduce best practices for scalable testing, automation, lifecycle management, and hardware maintenance.
• Serve as the main technical interface between Operations, R&D, Quality, and EMS manufacturing partners.
