Job summary

Syntegon in Beringen is seeking an IT/application environments administrator to oversee holistic management of application environments, including development, automation and version control. You will ensure stable and efficient operations, analyze requirements, and implement technical solutions to enhance processes.

You will act as a competent 2nd-level support contact, collaborate with internal IT and external partners, and drive digitalisation of engineering workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, electrical/automation engineering or related field.
• Experience in supporting and administering software applications.
• Strong German and English communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Manage application environments including software development and version control.
• Ensure stable, efficient, user-friendly application operations.
• Analyze requirements and implement technical solutions to improve processes.
• Serve as a 2nd-level support contact and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Document updates and patches and help digitalisation of engineering processes.
